Mr. Kwak Ki Sung, CEO of Honest Co., Ltd., donated 18,000,000 KRW as a scholarship to the department of cosmetic pharmacology at Daegu Haany University

Honest Co., Ltd. moved into the Daegu Haany University Business Incubation Center in 2016 and launched a hair care product line for extremely damaged hair using sea cucumber extract and marine complex extracts. Following this, Honest developed and launched the anti-hair loss care product and the anti-acne functional foaming wash. After launching them, Honest achieved $3 million of exports within 3 years after its founding and graduated from the Business Incubation Center.

Based on the relationship with Daegu Haany University, Honest recruited promising students from Daegu Haany University to recruit excellent researchers and donated a scholarship of 18 million Korean won to invest human resources. As the company has grown through the start-up incubation support program of Daegu Haany University, Honest has given back to society for the development of cosmetic research, human resources, and industry. Mr. Kwak, CEO of Honest, continues to lead the industry-academia cooperation so that academia and industry can improve educational performance and increase the effectiveness, and he built a real partnership with Daegu Haany University with the belief in the mission of Honest, fostering young talent and expanding recruitment.

Moreover, Kwak Ki-sung, CEO of Honest, donated 1,000 masks to Gyeongsan City to use at the COVID-19 screening clinic in March when it was difficult to supply masks due to COVID-19, and provided a meal box of love every morning for medical staff. Based on the belief that the profits of a company should be returned to society, and the company and the local community must develop together, Honest has participated in social contribution activities for the development of local communities through various activities.

After completing FDA OTC registration and Canadian NPN license registration for hand sanitizer, it is actively engaged in export activities.
